      Ce premier volume de la trilogie sur les Etats Unis avant la publication de Perfidia est l un des meilleurs roman Ellroy juste derri re L.A Confidentiel Il est difficile de savoir o s arr te l Histoire et o commence la fiction ce qui est parfois d stabilisant mais une fois qu on a ouvert ce livre, on ne peut plus le quitter.

      C est s rement un grand James Ellroy pour les fans , mais personnellement j ai jet l ponge au bout de 200 pages, pas d intrigue, beaucoup de personnages , difficile lire , mais je ne suis pas un sp cialiste de cet auteur , je n avais lus que le triptyque concernant Lloyd Hopkins, je le reprendrai peut tre plus tard.
